Mohammad Rozi : ウィキペディア英語版 | Mohammad Rozi
Mohammad Rozi is an Uzbek fugitive wanted for shooting three Australian troops serving in southern Afghanistan and two Afghan National Army. He is also wanted for a murder case that took place in northern Afghanistan during the 1990s. Rozi is believed to be hiding in neighboring Pakistan and may be a member of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan which is based in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). However, ethnic Uzbeks from Afghanistan are normally found in major Pakistani cities such as Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, and Islamabad. ==Background== Rozi is from the remote Uzbek-dominated Hazar Sumuch District in northern Takhar province of Afghanistan. It is alleged that he killed a man and then escaped with his family to Pakistan, where many Afghans stay there as refugees. Ghulam Sakhi, district chief of Hazar Sumuch, described Rozi as "a bad and grumpy boy. He knew that he was about to be caught so he and his family went to Pakistan." Another official confirmed by stating that "he killed a bodyguard and then he escaped." According to the Afghan Ministry of Defense, Rozi has joined the Afghan National Army in or about 2005.
